CERLY CHIN VAN DE EIJKHOF Z JOINS OLD LODGE STUD

Published on 01 July 2025

We are proud to announce the acquisition of a new filly who will strengthen both our breeding program and sport stable in the future. Cerly Chin van de Eijkhof Z is a daughter of the stallion Carrera VDL and descends from a brilliant dam line, that of Qerly Chin.

Her dam, Verly Chin van het Schaeck (by Aganix du Seigneur Z), is only four years old and won the final of the Hendrix competition in Peelbergen just last week. Verly Chin is also the sister of Million Dollar (1.60m, ridden by Sophie Hinners).

Great-granddam Daytona de Muze competed at the 1.60m level under Jody Bosteels and is herself the dam of four international horses. The dam line continues with Walloon de Muze, dam of, among others, Toupie de la Roque and VIP de la Roque, and traces back to the foundation mare Qerly Chin.

Old Lodge Stud is especially pleased with this new addition, who will now grow up in peace and hopefully shine in sport herself in a few years’ time.
